MAXIMUS Charitable Foundation

At MAXIMUS, we hold a strong sense of corporate citizenship and responsibility. We recognize the importance of giving back to the communities in which we live and work. This is why in 2000, the MAXIMUS Board of Directors created the MAXIMUS Charitable Foundation.

The MAXIMUS Charitable Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for young people through youth-oriented programs. We collaborate with organizations and charities in the United States that share our commitment in helping the disadvantaged achieve self-sufficiency and personal growth.

The MAXIMUS Charitable Foundation is funded by grants from the Company and charitable gifts from the employees of MAXIMUS. It is a non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is exempt from tax under Title 26 U.S.C. Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Application for Grants [1]

The Foundation Board of Directors makes funding decisions. Priority is given to programs that conform to the Foundation's stated purpose.

Grants are not generally awarded to:
•    Individuals
•    Advertising, ticket events, or dinner programs
•    Political causes or candidates
•    Endowments or capital campaigns

Grant amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000, although the Foundation may occasionally make significantly larger grants to maximize funding impact in our areas of interest.
