Israel Workforce Solutions

Israel Workforce Solutions (IWS), an organization owned by MAXIMUS and O.R.S., a human resource company based in Tel Aviv, provides a full range of welfare-to-work case management services to roughly 3,500 families in Ashkelon and Sderot in Southern Israel. We help participants overcome barriers to employment, achieve self-sufficiency, and curb their dependency on public assistance.

Our caseload is comprised of a diverse array of individuals with a significant concentration of Russian and Ethiopian immigrants. Our understanding of local cultures and customs allows us to be responsive to participant needs. We engage a diverse array of stakeholders to support participants as we work with them to improve their families’ lives, from community-based organizations to faith-based organizations to training providers, and the list goes on.
