The National Quality Monitoring Contractor provides the Department of Defense Health Affairs with an independent, impartial, evaluation of the care provided to Military Health System beneficiaries.

 

 

Purpose of the NQMC Contract

The purpose of this contract is to assist Health Affairs, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), the Market Managers, and the new TRICARE Regional Offices by providing the Government with an independent, impartial evaluation of care provided to the Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries.


 

NQMC Primary Responsibilities

NQMC Monthly Reports
 

The Reader’s Guide to the NQMC Monthly Report is a tool to assist the reader in gaining a full understanding and appreciation of how the monthly data are obtained, evaluated, and displayed.

A list of abbreviations and a table of evidence-based sources are provided beginning on page A-9. For ecological reasons, the Reader’s Guide is part of the electronic version of the NQMC Monthly Report but not the printed version.
