Michael Lemberg has been with MAXIMUS since 1998 and serves as President of the Health Services Segment’s Western Region. He also leads an internal organization that focuses on streamlining operations, identifying and sharing best practices, and advancing the Company's shared services initiatives in the United States.
Mr. Lemberg has more than 30 years of progressive technical, leadership, and management experience in a diverse range of operations, project management and business development. Mr. Lemberg is a leading expert for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and his expertise has enabled MAXIMUS to become an established industry leader in managing and operating CHIP. Mr. Lemberg has served in a variety of management roles during his tenure at MAXIMUS, including Project Director for the Iowa Hawk-I, Kansas Healthwave and California Diversion programs, as well as California Healthy Families, which was the largest CHIP in the United States. His responsibilities included oversight and responsibility for every aspect of those contracts.
Before joining MAXIMUS, Mr. Lemberg served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
