The MAXIMUS Foundation is proud to announce a donation of $21,860 to the American Red Cross to support its tornado relief efforts in Moore, Oklahoma.

“MAXIMUS conducts operations in Oklahoma City, just miles away from Moore, Oklahoma. As soon as our employees heard about the tornado they quickly donated to show support to the victims of this disaster,” commented MAXIMUS Foundation Chairman John F. Boyer. “The money raised is from employee contributions, both locally and across the nation, and corporate matching funds. We are glad to assist the victims by making this donation to the American Red Cross.”

In Oklahoma, the American Red Cross has provided thousands in Moore, Shawnee and other devastated communities with a safe place to stay, a warm meal, relief supplies and emotional support. American Red Cross and its partners have served 141,000 snacks and meals, distributed more than 29,000 relief items like disaster clean-up kits, and provided more than 6,300 health services and mental health checks. Shelters and relief centers are still open for those displaced by the events.
