In the 20th Judicial District of Tennessee Child Support Project, MAXIMUS
achieved significant increases in three major performance criteria.
We exceeded statewide averages in the IV-D PEP rate and in the ratio of current support paid.
We have increased the percentage of cases with orders by more than 44% in the last two years alone.
Our distributed collections increased by 26% during the last fiscal year. This amount is among the largest increases of the 31 Judicial Districts in the State.
The bar graph below clearly indicates our exceptional performance as of December 2002. Our performance in the 20th Judicial District has a significant positive impact on overall performance measures for the State of Tennessee.

Having operated this project for the past 10
years, we are armed with trained, qualified personnel who are knowledgeable
in child support enforcement and program management. Our project staff is
deeply rooted in the community; they live side-by-side with the people they
serve. This experience, knowledge, and personal commitment allows us to
provide exceptional customer service, proactively seek solutions to operational
issues, manage daily operations to meet contract requirements, and continue
to improve performance.
To continually enhance our performance, we regularly participate in the
District’s New Hire Orientation Program and offer our staff comprehensive,
ongoing, in-house training and quality assurance programs. We emphasize
maintaining data integrity and reliability. Our goal is to increase statewide
performance levels by obtaining maximum benefit from the functionality of
the Tennessee Child Support Enforcement System (TCSES) and available administrative
remedies.
