“The MAXIMUS Center for Health Literacy provided us with the adult
low literacy expertise that we needed to create an easy to understand digital
enrollment form that was customized for each Medicaid client. Our new enrollment
form has been a great success, producing more properly completed forms,
consequently more enrollments!
There was an average 30% increase in the number of complete and properly filled out forms returned by consumers, as compared to the old form, during the two-month transition period of the new digital form. Both forms were in circulation for two months during the transition period. NYMC compared the number of enrollments that were failed because the consumer had not properly filled out and signed the form.”
