MAXIMUS Federal Moves Up on Washington Technology’s Top 100 List

MAXIMUS Federal was once again recognized as one of the 100 largest government technology contractors by Washington Technology. This year, MAXIMUS Federal moved up to number 54, making the jump up three spots from last year’s rankings. The publication “has ranked the 100 largest government contractors for more than two decades, and it is viewed as one of the best barometers of the federal market’s competitive landscape.” The rankings are calculated using government spending and obligations during fiscal 2015.

The federal funding incentive structure for IV-D programs is dependent upon meeting federal performance goals in five key program areas (paternity establishment, support order establishment, current support, arrears collections and cost effectiveness) as well as improving performance and increasing TANF and non-TANF collections. Performance in these program areas and collections impact a state’s ability to generate federal dollars for its program.

By enabling employers to chat with program representatives while they upload data on new employees, Pennsylvania’s program is seeing greater accuracy and faster reporting times — enabling it to locate non-custodial parents and expedite the child support withholding process.
