Mr. Travis is a senior marketing and public relations professional with more than 20 years of diversified marketing experience in the technology, government contracting and financial services industries. At MAXIMUS, he is responsible for the management and execution of marketing and communications strategies for the Company’s U.S. Federal Services Segment. Before joining MAXIMUS in 2008, Mr. Travis worked with such diverse companies as SAIC, American River HealthPro Credit Union and Dot Hill Systems Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and management with a marketing emphasis from the University of Redlands and a master’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) includes a special provision for states to take new approaches to their health insurance programs: Section 1332. Commonly referred to as the 2017 State Innovation Waiver, Section 1332 gives states greater flexibility on how they can provide health insurance coverage to their citizens and support new initiatives for how they manage their Medicaid programs.
